If you’re looking for trees for riparian filter strips, wildlife habitats, windbreaks, living snow fences, or recreational areas, we have what you need. Call us if you have questions or need help choosing the right options.

We source our trees from Schumacher’s Nursery & Berry Farm in Minnesota, Towner State Nursery in Towner, North Dakota, and Lincoln Oakes Nursery in Bismarck, North Dakota for shelterbelt trees. You can find detailed descriptions of the trees on our website. Trees for Sheridan County

Trees are typically ordered in bundles of 25 or 50, though some varieties can be ordered in smaller bundles. If you’re interested, call our office at 406-765-1801 ext. 101 for more details.

For the 2026 planting season, please place your order as early as possible to ensure the best selection. Prices and availability may change without notice. Make checks payable to the Sheridan County Conservation District (SCCD).

If you want a living shelterbelt but don’t have time to plant the trees, the Sheridan County Conservation District can help. More information is available on our website. Tree Planting Program

Order forms will be available in November 2025 for the 2026 planting season.

You can email your orders to: sheridancd@macdnet.org or mail them to:
